ASU SUMMER PIANO FESTIVAL 2014 and J.D. KELLY PIANO COMPETITION,

June 22-26, 2014

Faculty:  Dr. J.D. Kelly, Mr. Brian Henkelmann, Dr. Lauren Schack Clark

Scholarships available.  Sponsored in part by  Nucor-Yamato Steel, Treble Clef Club  

The J.D. Kelly Piano Competition.  Sponsored in part by Amro Music, Delta Music Teachers Association, SAI Alumnae and Patronesses, and other generous individuals.  

Activities will include:

Private Piano Lessons

Competition

Master Classes

Music History

Music Theory

Duets/Ensembles

Performances by ASU students and faculty

Pipe Organs and Pizza 

Final Student Recital

For Pianists entering grades 2-12 who have had at least one academic year of private instruction.  Classes will be organized by age/ability level.

All students in grades 2-12 attend Summer Piano Festival the same week.  Option of overnight dorm residency and meal plan or day schedule only.  For students in grades 1-6, if choosing dorm residency, students MUST be accompanied by a parent or relative over 18 overnight and at each meal.
